d2x-rebirth software package provides port of the 1996 classic game Descent 2: Counterstrike, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install d2x-rebirth
d2x-rebirth is installed in your system.
Make ensure the d2x-rebirth package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep d2x-rebirth *
You will get with d2x-rebirth package name, version, architecture and description in a table
